The National Anti-Vivisection Society (NAVS) is on a mission to end the exploitation of animals used in science. Our programs work to transform science and science education toward more human-relevant and humane solutions.

NAVS promotes greater compassion, respect, and justice for animals through our educational and advocacy programs. Our programs are based on respected ethical, scientific, and legal theory. NAVS works to increase public awareness about animal experimentation, promote positive solutions that advance humane science in classrooms and laboratories, and support the development of human-relevant alternatives to the use of animals.
