NAVS Welcomes Sally Draper as Executive Director!

In February 2025, Sally Draper joins us as the new executive director of NAVS. Sally arrives with decades of experience at several leading national nonprofits, many focused on health. Most recently she served as senior vice president at Rosecrance Behavioral Health, one of the Midwest’s leading providers of substance use and mental health services. Simultaneously, she served as executive director of The Rosecrance Foundation, doubling the organization’s charitable revenue during her tenure. Sally is dedicated to giving animals a better life, as well as benefiting human health in the process.

Sally will also serve as director of strategic partnerships for the International Foundation for Ethical Research (IFER), founded as a joint venture by NAVS in 1985 to support the development, validation, and implementation of innovative scientific methodologies that advance science and replace the use of animals in research, testing and education.  We are thrilled to have Sally lead us in our next chapter and advance our fight to end the use of animals in research!
